Pike County Jail's Eminence Front

This is the first in a series of articles from various authors, on the subject of faith-based recovery in Pike County Jail's M.O.R.E. and A.R.R.O.W. inmate programs. The author was required to spend an extra six months there to fulfill the required attendance in church and 12-Steps. He was charged $10/day more than a state prison charges, for the luxury of religious indoctrination in amongst other things, Creationism [hopefully to the gov't, at the expense of evolution theory]. First some related material:

Eminence Front / The Who

The sun shines
And people forget
The spray flies as the speedboat glides
And people forget
Forget they're hiding
The girls smile
And people forget
The snow packs as the skier tracks
And people forget
Forget they're hiding.
Behind an eminence front
Eminence front - It's a put on.
Come on join the party
Dress to kill
Won't you come and join the party
Dress to kill.
The drinks flow
People forget
That big wheel spins, the hair thins
People forget
Forget they're hiding
The news slows
People forget
The shares crash, hopes are dashed
People forget
Forget they're hiding.
Behind an eminence front
Eminence front - it's a put on
Come on join the party
Dress to
Come on join the party
Dress to
Come on join the party
Dress to
Come on join the party
Dress to kill
Dress yourself, dressed to kill.

All needless matters have been eliminated

"How these papers have been placed in sequence will be made manifest in the reading of them. All needless matters have been eliminated, so that a history almost at variance with the possibilities of later-day belief may stand forth as simple fact. There is throughout no statement of past things wherein memory may err, for all the records chosen are exactly contemporary, given from the standpoints and within the range of knowledge of those who made them." (Abraham Stoker)
