Judge, Warden of the Year still Indoctrinating Inmates in 2008?

i. Pike County’s District attorney, Judge, Warden, counsel direct and allow, as evidenced in the County Jail Inmate Handbook, the County Jail, Court and Crime Commissions’ routine engagement in chicanery and “Fraud and breakdown of Court” insofar as – [SEE INMATE HANDBOOK below]

ii. First Amendment rights were prejudiced at Co. Jail by Warden of the Year, et al religious coercion of me and other residents into M.O.R.E. & A.R.R.O.W.'s God and Jesus Christ- centered programs for kitchen-work / State Parole requirements, October 2005 through November, 2007. This requires participation in religious cults, AA and 12-steps, for which the jail cannot obtain a PA Board of Health license as required by the Vehicle Code. This allows operating outside the law, inside a jail, away from scrutiny

iii. Even today in August, 2008, many County Jail inmates currently invoking their Creator endowed rights (against such coercion), are rewarded by languishing far beyond their maximum county jail sentence;

iv. My own submission to the Warden and commission’s unreasonable, local schemes of injustice cost me an extra six months in jail (total of 18 months). Thereupon was I paroled by the state Board of Probation and Parole for good behavior, and right-mindedness.

This post may serve as exhaustive administrative remedy, sometimes required in civil rights cases where government impropiety is involved. However, rising to the level of illegailty, as a serious case wherein evidence of the court's cover-up exists, such guilty minds may suffice for plaintiffs and the First Amendment to prevail.

It was a foregone conclusion that certain indigenous Pike Co., PA memories were not worth remembering, though left to die on the vine, a few warranted redemption. They were to become new only in new ways, new bottles. Such is yet the way of those converted by a new covenant between Creator and men; a few right minded, transplanted seedlings that came out of the West, landing in the dryness of the Pike, redeem themselves and even a few of their new Piker friends in a new covenant, the fruit of the vine, in vino veritas.

Self preservation - what are the facts? Again and again and again, what are facts - and to how many decimal places? You travel always into an unknown future; facts are your single clue. Get the facts! So it was - so ever well said on paper, though as yet undone in hearing chambers. What became well said and quite obtrusively apparent, in NEPA in 2007, was a widespread pattern of coercion, a thwarting of the law regarding the financial responsibility behind emergency hospitalizations.

Whenst the reading of 50 Pa.C.S. et seq. by the plaintiff had occurred, 'twas not before the aforesaid coercion had escalated into a full blown kidnapping ring perpetrated by a money hungry Parochial Hospital, aggravated by State officials; conspiratorial, premeditated, with criminal intent. It occured while I fled electronic voyeur perverts for my life, and just a few believed me, and I thought maybe the FBI would .

We can learn a lot from the Amish about religious conviction and strong morals, about family values, and about forgiveness and love, as seen in the aftermath of the 2006 Nickel Mines, Lancaster County, massacre of five Amish schoolgirls.

But that doesn't exempt our Amish neighbors, including members of a sect in northern Cambria County, from laws established to protect the quality of life for all of us.

Barr Township and county officials unfortunately have found themselves at odds recently with several Amish families who moved here about a decade ago.

The debate centers on housing construction being done without building permits and with improper disposal of human waste – more specifically, dumping excrement from illegal outhouses onto farm fields.

Neither can or should be tolerated.

Perhaps Deborah Sedlmeyer, executive director of the Cambria County Sewage Enforcement Agency, said it best:

"We respect the religious beliefs of the Amish. But the agency expects the Amish to honor and respect our state laws."

And so do others who have made their homes in our region.

The outhouses are situated near a schoolhouse, and instead of being over a tank that is legally emptied, plastic buckets have been placed under the seats and the waste is dumped on farm fields.

That's a proven health hazard and must be stopped.

The Amish families of the ultraconservative Swartzentruber sect built the schoolhouse in 2006 on a 76-acre parcel owned by Andy Swartzentruber of Cambria Township. Understandably, the sewage agency has received numerous complaints from neighbors in a residential area across the road.

Unlike a similar situation earlier in Cambria Township, efforts to resolve the situation amicably with Amish elders in Barr Township have been unproductive.

Citations have been filed with a district judge, with the law providing fines ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.

The same sect has also been ordered to stop work on building a house without construction or sewage permits.

Amish communities choose a simple life with as little intrusion from the modern world as possible.

But this certainly isn't the first time long-practiced Amish customs and religious beliefs have clashed with today's health standards.

Other tiffs with our region's Amish – and with some sects of Mennonites also – during the past few years have involved the use of fluorescent orange on the rear of buggies and on clothing while hunting.

Use of fluorescent orange clashes with some sects' religious principles, and officials and elders were able to work out solutions in those cases.

We're not confident there is room for debate in the latest wrangling.

When a family chooses to become part of a community, that family is, in essence, agreeing to abide by the laws, ordinances and codes of that community. That includes our good neighbors, the Amish.

And what a life it is, of Anthracite, that pristine form of indigenous black ore which I had dreamed of inhaling since I was a small boy. See me and my cohorts cavort amongst the subterranean shafts of carborundum, graphite and shale while we earn $50 per ton. It's a real man's life in the depths of the Earth, Molly McGuires be gone, we say, and no time, Toulouse, so there.

Larry Craig's Legal Problem

The Larry Craig Legal Controversy

A question for an appellate court is the wording of the law regarding disorderly conduct that states if one's behavior "disturbs others", they have committed a crime. "Others" is plural, and Craig's only complainant was a single, lone officer dropping a log next door. If Craig admits he is gay, and being gay is nothing to get upset or disturbed about much anymore in 2008, he isn't guilty of very much but perhaps the disdain of a cop hanging out. To smell other peoples' poop is pretty much a disturbance to begin with. A reasonable person should expect rank odors, but should a reasonable person expect gays to frequent airport bathrooms?

In 2008, the answer is probably yes, a reasonable person ought to expect there to be gay men cruising the stalls, for those types love the thrill of good/bad, slutty/proper, hot/cold, and itchy/scratchy.

Should the officer have had the reasonable expectation he ought not to be tempted so by Craig's or anyone else's advances, insofar that if allowed to persist, a cop might renounce heterosexuality, cave and wind up naked? Pubic safety dictates at some such point a cell-phone or official gun could go missing with pants down.

There are other deep, deep questions that arise from police stings besides Roxanne, Don't stand so close to me. "Can cops have the necessary skills to disdain airport temptations once they have retired from the police department?" or "Will police have the necessary skills to disdain the sale of dime or nickel-bags upon retirement?" One can only speculate at this point what the police may do in retirement phases.

Disorderly conduct is a generic charge, minor and if I were Congress I would allow Craig to continue in office on the condition that he review MTV's most recent gay bus-stop/restroom/dating game show so as to quite simply bring the issues into a proper, just light of odd entertainment.

STATEMENT OF QUESTIONS FOR REVIEW

There's some question as to why aliens are transmigrating so rapidly through the Eastern Seaboard and directly off the shelf of the continent itself. Why such a hurry to move aliens, why such a contrived effort to permanently remove on Uncle Sam's part? In fact, as one reviews the record, there indeed may be substantial risks posed by alien presence being so close to food plants. What are we prepared to do about it, and how is it any of our business, to begin with?

The manner of alien detention in the area of question, insofar as aliens are transferred from NY to PA in order to spirit them off the continent to save a few bucks, conflicts with USCS Chapter 12, Title 8.

Gather your allies. If indeed each alien detention should be given all the consideration it is due, case by case by tribunals of fair and impartial judges of the unified judicial system suffice all, when the government acted in good faith as well as may be.

Pike County Jail's Eminence Front

This is the first in a series of articles from various authors, on the subject of faith-based recovery in Pike County Jail's M.O.R.E. and A.R.R.O.W. inmate programs. The author was required to spend an extra six months there to fulfill the required attendance in church and 12-Steps. He was charged $10/day more than a state prison charges, for the luxury of religious indoctrination in amongst other things, Creationism [hopefully to the gov't, at the expense of evolution theory].
